This week we continued to focus on rhyming through our Silly Soup game and trying to find the odd one out in a rhyming string. In maths we extended our learning to ABC patterns using different colours. To help us we voiced the pattern out loud to help us remember what would come next. We also used outdoor materials such as sticks, leaves and stones to help us create different ABC patterns.
We started to practise our Christmas songs for our concert, focusing on the pitch and speed of each song. Once we were familiar with them, we then learnt some actions to help us remember the words.
In explore learning we continued to make different marks using foam stamps and combs with paint, used linking chains to make different AB patterns and explored a dinosaur small world out in our nursery garden.
