This week we have been looking at The Little Red Hen. We used small world to act out the story, and then created a story map to help us retell it. In explore learning time, we used our cutting and sticking skills to make our own Little Red Hen. In maths we looked at sorting objects by shape and size, and enjoyed singing 5 currants buns.
In PE we used our listening ears to listen out for a tambourine, drum and a set of bells When we heard the instrument we would make different movements – a star jump, twist or balance on one leg.
