At the beginning of the week, we enjoyed observing our class butterflies, before setting them free outside. This was such a lovely experience and the children were so excited to watch as they flew up into the air.
This week has been a creative week for our children in Reception. They made and decorated vanilla cupcakes linked to our story Eat Your People and built an Ice Cream shop in the role-play area.
We began the week practicing a variety of athletic skills outdoors.
This week, we investigated how addition is commutative and that subtraction is not. We had to think carefully about the order of the numbers when subtracting.
This week we continued learning about pollution in our world.
