We started this week looking at the festival of Diwali. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and used puppets to act out the story. In explore learning time we using different shaped blocks to create diva lamps. In maths we focused on recognising when there is two of something and in phonics we looked at body percussion and made a sequence e.g. stamp stamp clamp
Towards the end of the week nursery started to get spooky! Our role play had a spooky makeover, we scooped out the pumpkins and made some spooky bubbling cauldrons. We enjoyed dressing up and showing our friends our
outfits, and we even had our own spooky disco.
