What a lovely first full week at Nursery. The children have settled in so well and it has been wonderful to see their confidence growing. They are becoming increasingly independent, coming into Nursery happily, hanging up their belongings and beginning their morning activities with a smile.
This week, the children have enjoyed exploring the different learning spaces and discovering all that Nursery has to offer. They have been busy moulding and manipulating playdough, building with Duplo, exploring the home corner and digging in the mud area. We have played lots of fun games to help everyone learn the names of their teachers and new friends and the children have enjoyed listening to stories together, including Owl Babies.
The children have also loved singing along to our welcome and goodbye songs and enthusiastically moving their bodies during our Wake and Shake music sessions. What a busy and happy first week.
