Nursery Latest News – Autumn 1 Week 5

This week we have been very busy looking at lots of different farm animals. We started off the week looking into our magic bag to see what animals might live on a farm. We used our binoculars to look at different recognisable features of farm animals, and then we listened to Miss Beaumont describe features of the animals to see if we could guess what the animal was. In Maths we continued with sorting activities, seeing what objects we could sort by colour.

Outside we explored with the cars and made our own little town, with traffic signs included. At the end of the week Mrs Rathod made us our very own farmyard in our garden. We could let the animals sleep in their houses, graze on some grass, the pigs could get muddy and even the ducks went down their very own slide.
