Nursery Latest News Autumn 1 Week 6

This week we have been looking at The Little Red Hen. We used small world to act out the story, and then created a story map to help us retell it. In explore learning time, we used our cutting and sticking skills to make our own Little Red Hen. In maths we looked at sorting objects by shape and size, and enjoyed singing 5 currants buns. In PE we used our focus and attention skills to play follow the leader, having to watch to see when the movement had changed. In phonics we used our listening skills to recognise sounds we might hear on the farm and in the home.
