Nursery Latest News – Autumn 1 Week 6

This week we have been looking at The Little Red Hen. Miss Beaumont took the characters out of the bag and we recognised them as animals you would find on a farm. We used our cutting, sticking and colouring skills to make our own Little Red Hens.

In maths we have been looking at the number 4, we made different representations such as flowers, people and dots and also made our own Numberblock 4. In PE we learnt to negotiate space by making our circle move around in different directions.

Outside we developed our gross motor skills with conker painting, learning how to move the conkers by moving the tray in different directions. We finished the week making a class Little Red Hen story map with the help of Mrs Rathod teaching us a Little Red Hen rhyme.
