This week we have been reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears. During explore learning we all followed three part instructions to create daddy bear, mummy bear or baby bear. We used different sized brushes for the different parts of the bear. In PE we learnt how to safely use the benches. We focused on travelling across the bench and jumping off, landing with two feet. In maths we focused on recognising when there is two of something and in phonics we looked at body percussion and made a sequence e.g. stamp stamp clamp. We thought about different feelings, how they are represented by different colours and how we can recognise them.
On Friday we had our Spooky Day and took part in different spooky activities. We read our spooky story We’re Going on a Ghost Hunt, scooped out pumpkins, made potions and created a bubbling cauldron using cardboard rolls and paint with washing up liquid in.
