We started this week with a letter from Eku the Elephant inviting us to spend a week in the Serengeti. We learnt about the different animals that we could find in the Serengeti, such as dung beetles, rhinos, lions and armadillos.
On Wednesday we celebrated World Book Day and had some fantastic costumes. Over the week we enjoyed some lovely stories from our Secret Readers and listened to our different masked readers and discussed who we think they might be.
In maths we have moved on to looking at length and height, introducing words such as tall, taller and tallest, short, shorter and shortest, long, longer and longest. In phonics we continued to look at how our voices can make different sounds and when we put different sounds together we can make a word.
