This week we have been looking at different habitats for animals all over the world, including desert, rainforest and jungles, polar, forest and gardens. We then looked at different animals and had a great discussion on where the animals would live. We decided that some of the animals could live in more than one habitat.
In maths we looked at balance scales and showed our understanding of what way the scales tip when something is heavy and light. We used different objects around the classroom to consolidate our learning. In phonics we continued to look at the sounds our voices can make and how those sounds can make up words. In PE we looked at the ways our bodies can make different shapes such as straight, L shape, tuck and straddle. We then moved around the music and when the music stopped chose a shape to perform.
