We started the week looking at our topic of animals that live in the hottest parts of the world and learnt about the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. We met Antonio the Anteater who informed us all about the two types of rainforests and what animals we might find there. Antonio then helped us understand the importance of trees and what we need them for.
In maths we looked at balance scales and showed our understanding of what way the scales tip when something is heavy and light. We used different objects around the classroom to consolidate our learning. In PE we looked at the ways our bodies can make different shapes such as straight, L shape, tuck and straddle. We then moved around the music and when the music stopped chose a shape to perform.
