This week we have been looking at the life cycle of a plant and what they need to grow. We looked into the different parts of a plant and used our prior knowledge to label the plant. We then looked at each part and what their job was to help keep the plant healthy. In explore learning time we each put a bean in a sandwich bag with cotton wool and water – we are excited to watch our beans grow. We have also welcomed our class caterpillars and we are very excited to watch them grow.
On Wednesday we welcomed Dave from RaptorXotics in to show some of his small animals. We saw animals such as an owl, a hedgehog and a lizard. We were super brave when handling all of the animals and learnt some exciting new facts.
