This week we have been looking at the life cycle of a plant and what they need to grow. We looked into the different parts of a plant and used our prior knowledge to label the plant. We then looked at each part and what their job was to help keep the plant healthy. In explore learning time we each put a bean in a sandwich bag with cotton wool and water – we are excited to watch our beans grow. We have also welcomed our class caterpillars and we are very excited to watch them grow.
In PE we continued to look at our sports day races, this week focusing on balancing a quoit on our head whilst walking to the hoop, then round the hoop and back. In phonics we have looked at the phoneme ‘a’ and sorted different objects into a group that began with ‘s’ and didn’t begin with ‘a
