On Monday we began our birthday celebration week by looking at how schools have changed since Malvern Way and Little Green had opened in 1949. We looked at the difference in the school building, classrooms, and equipment such as white boards and black boards.
On Tuesday we had a visit from the circus. We all went into the Big Top to watch a performance, and then went into the hall to learn some circus skills of our own. We learnt how to spin plates and use the flower batons. At the end of the day, we showcased our new skills to the whole school.
On Thursday we had our party day where we came to school dressed in our best party outfit. We filled the day with different party games, and even had time to show off our outfits in our Nursery fashion show.
On Friday we had the biggest celebration of all by welcoming Little Green to our school for a scavenger hunt and a teddy bears picnic. After that, we walked all the way too Little Green to take part in singing the 75th birthday celebration song.
