This week the children have enjoyed listening to and acting out the traditional tale of The Three Little Pigs. This story linked to us talking about our homes, exploring safety in the home and also looking at different homes around the world.
In maths the children have been learning about the composition of numbers to 4 e.g. 4 can be composed of ‘3 and 1’. They enjoyed using natural resources such as stones and leaves to create collections of 3 and 4.
In PE this week we practised the skill of making tuck and star shapes and also played the mirror game where we copied out partner’s shapes.
At the end of the week, the children attended their first Badges assembly with the whole school where they had the opportunity to celebrate the successes of their friends.
