This week we have continued to learn about woodland animals and their habitats. The children have learnt new vocabulary such as: sett, warren, lodge and drey and have enjoyed building their own woodland habitats using the small world resources and animals. The children have also been learning words and actions to the poem ‘I’m a little hedgehog’, we performed this for the parents and shared it on Evidence Me.
We have also begun to look at our school vision and values with a focus on Everyone Matters, we enjoyed learning about Moles and listening to the story which helped us to understand we are all important and everyone matters.
