The children talked about their experiences of bonfire night, they described the noises they heard such as: bang, pop, whizz and crackle. Some of the children created their own firework patterns using a range of mixed media.
The children were so excited to visit the spinney where they had their first experience of the fire pit. They listened carefully to the safety instructions before they toasted their own marshmallow. Yummy!
Throughout the week, the children have enjoyed using our class story map of ‘Goldilocks and the Three bears’ to learn the story. The children have practised with the words and actions.
In math’s the children have learnt to measure the length of objects using unfix cubes, comparing which one is the longest/shortest using comparative language and more than and fewer than.
