This week we have continued our focus on bears. Each class discovered what their favourite bear was by using a class vote and then we recorded the information on a graph. Next we drew our favourite bear and wrote an interesting fact about it. We also wrote what we would take with us on the ‘Bear Hunt’. In the creative area we have been sponge painting polar bears and making paper collage pictures of pandas.
In maths, we explored the language of whole and part, investigating how different parts can make up a whole number — for example, if 3 is the whole, then 2 and 1 are parts of it.
We’ve also been very excited to begin learning our dance for the Christmas performance and can’t believe it’s only a few weeks until our Nativity!
