On Monday, the children were very excited as we began our Christmas play rehearsals on the stage. They have all been working hard to remember their lines using a loud, clear voice with expression. Later in the week, the children took part in an art lesson where they used a sketching pencil to make horizontal, vertical, diagonal and swirly lines in preparation for more accurate drawing.
The children also created their own pictures using block paint, thinking carefully about using thick or thin brushes to create different marks and shapes within our paintings. We ended the week thinking about our school visions and values and revisited the story about the Mole linked to our value Everyone Matters.
