This week we celebrated Earth Day, focussing on the story ‘I am Earth.’ We talked about the importance of looking after our Earth and recapped what we knew about our planet.
Later in the week, we revisited the pond and looked at changes from our previous visit. We noticed the frogspawn had turned into tadpoles, the children were very excited to see the changes that had occurred and predicted what would happen next.
The children listened carefully to their peers sharing their sparkling moments from the Easter break. It was lovely to hear all about their exciting adventures that they enjoyed with their family and friends.
At the end of the week, we were very excited because our caterpillars arrived. We are looking forward to watching them closely and noticing a change.
