This week, the children have continued to enjoy learning the story ‘Eat Your People’.
Throughout the week, they used their phonic skills to write their own versions of the story.
They came up with some great ideas such as:
Eat Your Slugs
Eat Your Socks
Eat Your Rocks
In the creative area, the children enjoyed making salt dough people and completed observational drawings of our class caterpillars.
They observed the caterpillars closely and made thoughtful comments about how they have changed.
We look forward to seeing what happens next!
On Thursday, we celebrated VE Day and remembered the day the war ended and how people celebrated.
We ended the week with a Reception singing lesson, where we all learnt our new focus song
‘I Can See a Rainbow’ using Makaton sign language.
