This week the children have been learning the story, The Bog Baby. They have really enjoyed listening to the story throughout the week and even found their very own Bog Baby in the school woodland area. The children used adjectives to describe Bog Baby and wrote their own descriptive sentences. In maths, the children have worked on ordering numbers that are represented in different ways, linking them to a number line. In Geography the children have enjoyed drawing their own physical maps and creating a key. They ended the week developing their standing and floor shapes in dance and progressing them through partner work.
