This week the children have enjoyed learning rhyme through reciting Nursery Rhymes and poems. The children practised their rhyming orally and had a go at writing a rhyming string of words.
In maths, we have continued to explore the cherry model and generated number sentences to match. This included subtraction.
In art, we used our observational skills to sketch a pumpkin. The children tried to include their sketching skills such as hatching and cross hatching.
During discovery, the children continued their geography skills by drawing a floor sized map of Malvern Way and beyond! Some of the children drew
a pumpkin using the Paintz app on the chrome books.
The children all enjoyed coming into school dressed up in their spooky outfits. They carried out a variety of spooky activities and ended the day with a disco!
