The children have had a busy first week back!
We started off the week by exploring traditional tales and learning about the different features of these stories. We then read the story, The Three Billy Goats Gruff and wrote some character descriptions. In history, the children were curious to learn about Guy Fawkes and creatively acted out the story with the drama technique known as freeze frames. Some of the children made their own firework patterns using paint and chalk and some children created them on the chrome books. We were all very excited to toast marshmallows on the fire pit too. Prior to this, we discussed the rules of how to be safe around the fire pit.
