The children had lots of fun getting into their costumes and performing their Christmas show to their grown-ups this week. They were all fantastic on stage!
In English, the children continued learning about instructions and wrote a short set of instructions of what to do when they arrive at school. Later on in the week, they continued their sentence writing by applying because in a sentence.
In history, we learnt more about Croxley Windmill and what happened to it over time. Some children used their sketching skills to draw a picture of it in our discovery learning.
In art, the children created pictures of Christmas trees using paints and pastels. They started by painting dots and using a dry brush to spread the paint giving it a needle look. The next day they added decorations using pastels.
