This week in maths the children explored numbers up to 20. They used counters and cubes to generate addition and subtraction number sentences to make a target number. In English, the children orally practised their information report and then spent a number of sessions writing them up. It was lovely to hear all about the interesting places such as Colourful Peru and Sparkle World!
On Wednesday, the children really enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and bringing in some of their favourite stories for us to share in class, to celebrate World Book Day.
At the end of the week, the children enjoyed time outdoors, looking for signs of spring.
