This week in maths, the children explored missing parts using the Cuisenaire rods. They generated addition and subtraction number sentences from these models. In English, the children enjoyed creating their own character based on our local area. They learnt about the impact of exclamation marks and applied these in their own writing.
On Wednesday, the children really enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and bringing in some of their favourite stories for us to share in class, to celebrate World Book Day.
In music, the children consolidated musical vocabulary including tempo, beat and rhythm. They enjoyed learning their class song, Che Che Kule and came up with some actions.
