In English the children recapped how to write instructions. The children also observed the class caterpillars with immense curiosity as they have now formed a chrysalis. They drew pictures of the changes and wrote sentences to match.
In maths, the children learnt about repeated addition, using cubes to support their learning. At the end of the week, the children were introduced to the term arrays and practically made arrays using cubes and counters.
In art, the children learnt more about Georgia O’Keeffe and discussed the vibrant colours she used in her landscapes pictures. The children enjoyed using the pastels to create landscapes using bright colours.
