At the beginning of the week, we had a lovely surprise to find our butterflies had come out of their chrysalises. We enjoyed observing them for a few days, before setting them free outside. In English, we learnt what an explanation text is and we created a lifecycle of a butterfly or frog using craft materials.
We had a fabulous day at Cassiobury Farm in the sunshine. We saw many different animals from around the world and the highlight of the day was feeding the alpacas, goats and llamas. Many of the children were confident caterpillars trying this and found it quite ticklish! It was lovely to hear the children being so inquisitive about the animals and great that we challenged the keepers with some of our questions.
