The children have settled well after half term and everyone is looking forward to a busy next few weeks! We started our week off by writing postcards to our friends, all about our half term fun. The children are becoming confident writers and remembered to use capital letters for names and places. We also started reading the new text Little Red and the Very Hungry Lion.
The children wrote some sentences about the story, their own letters and wrote about some of the animals on Little Reds journey. In maths, the children have been looking at grouping and have been working practically to solve word problems. In computing, the children have started learning how to use the programme scratchJr. They learnt how to use some of the programming blocks and how to move a sprite (character).
