What a busy Sport’s Week we have had! The children really enjoyed exploring many sports this week. We had a wonderful workshop with Coach Matt, playing fun games to develop our cricket skills. On Tuesday, we had another workshop learning football skills, dribbling and changing direction. On Wednesday morning, the children thoroughly enjoyed participating in various sports with children from other year groups. Our Sport’s Morning showed off some great sportsmanship and determination by all the children.
In English, the children enjoyed researching different sports and drawing a text map. It was lovely to see a buzz among all the children, sharing their own experiences of sport as well as learning more facts about them. In history, the children enjoyed discussing how trains have changed over the years and commented on old photos of trains that travelled to London from Croxley and Watford. They also drew a steam train in art, using their sketching skills.
