What amazing weather we have had this week! The sun has put a beaming smile on our faces. The children have written some beautiful summer poems. It was lovely to see how well they used their senses to form their poems, which included lots of adjectives.
In history the children looked at how seaside’s have changed over the years and when the first train was used to travel to a seaside. There were lots of discussions about how things have changed and the children were really interested in seeing how children played at the seaside compared to now.
The children have enjoyed PE this week and completed short agility circuits. In maths they looked at halves and had a go at halving objects and numbers.
