This week, the children have enjoyed learning about different minibeasts in English. They worked together in groups to gather facts about a minibeast. They used a range of resources such as fact files, books and Ipads to find out new information. It was great to see collaborative work and lots of discussions being had. Some of the groups presented what they had found in front of the class.
In maths, the children have continued to learn about arrays and describe different groups. They used their problem-solving skills to answer word problems and drew the arrays to match.
In art this week, the children learnt about perspective. They had a look at different perspective drawings and learnt what the ‘horizon line’ was.
