This week was anti-bullying week. We spent some time discussing bullying, what it means and how we can prevent it. We then created our Helping Hands for this year carefully thinking about who we would go to if we had a problem.
This week we learnt all about Remembrance Day and then used our previous learning to write a list poem about it. We also walked to the local war memorial to read our Remembrance poems. When we were there, we were able to spot the poppy wreath from Malvern Way School!
In Maths, we have been using place value frames along with dienes to practise the strategy of ‘think 10’ to solve addition calculations. We will build on this learning next week.
