This week the children have impressed us with how well they worked together to create their own land art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. They enjoyed using natural materials that they collected from our school woodland.
In science, the children have been learning all about habitats and discussing how it is important that different animals are suited to their habitats to ensure they survive. They then went for a walk in our woodland and used their senses to observe various habitats.
The children also engaged well with our English learning to create a short piece of imaginative writing based on the story ‘The frog and the stranger’. They had great ideas about what might have happened in the lead up to one of the events in the story.
