This week the children have impressed us with how well they worked together to create their own land art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. They enjoyed using natural materials that they collected from our school woodland.
In science, the children enjoyed visiting our school pond to find out more about it as a habitat to living things. They were excited to observe creatures such as water snails and pond skaters.
The children also engaged well with our English learning to create a short piece of imaginative writing based on the story ‘The frog and the stranger’. They had great ideas about what might have happened in the lead up to one of the events in the story.
