This week we all practised the skill of sewing a running stitch so that we can use it when we make our Christmas decorations that we have designed. We also made a mock-up of our design to help us to understand how we will make our decorations. We persevered even when it was challenging and felt proud of what we achieved. We all agreed that we had shown our school value, growing minds!
In Maths we have been using different coins to make the same amount and solving money problems involving addition and subtraction.
We have also been very busy writing our own journey stories based on our walk to the war memorial and inspired by our focus text ‘Last stop on market street’.
Our rehearsals for our Christmas production are now in full swing and we have been working really hard to practise our class dances and songs. We can’t wait to perform to an audience!
