Year 2 Latest News – Summer 1 Week 3

We have noticed that our caterpillars are getting very large and look like they are ready to form their chrysalis. This week we discussed the word ‘metamorphosis’ and we look forward to observing the caterpillars going through this big change to become butterflies!

In English, we have thoroughly enjoyed writing our own free verse poems based on ‘The Magic Box’ by Kit Wright. We had some creative ideas of what to put in our magic box, such as a laughing snowflake from Antarctica, the blink of a new-born baby and the tip of a rainbow.
