This week, we continued to explore music in computing. We discussed the difference between pulse and rhythm and used musical instruments to demonstrate this. Then we were introduced to Chrome Music Lab. We thoroughly enjoyed using the program to explore rhythm and pulse.
In science, we learnt about plant life cycles and linked this to our autumn learning of animal life cycles. We learnt new scientific language such as germination. Then we used our newfound knowledge to create our own plant life cycles.
On Wednesday, we enjoyed a very special afternoon as a whole school. Each class put together a performance to celebrate the life of Mrs Cole. In Year 2, we created and recited a poem about our special Head teacher and performed ‘You Are My Sunshine’ on our ocarinas.
