What an exciting week we have had! At the beginning of the week, we were very surprised to notice some cheeky elf antics going on around the school but we were even more surprised when Father Christmas burst into our assembly. He made us all laugh and told us all about the North Pole. Then he delivered some presents to our class. We are looking forward to using our new pens and marble run in the New Year. We also enjoyed a festive party day filled with fun games and a delicious Christmas lunch.
In English, we improved our letter writing and particularly liked writing imaginative letters to the fire brigade to inform them that we had found a dragon in our house! In maths, we enjoyed playing board games on Monday and then using this as inspiration to make our own board games.
We are all ready now to enjoy the festive break!
