Reception Latest News-Spring 2- Week 4

This week our learning focused on the story ‘The Train Ride’. We enjoyed re-creating the story with props and wrote some sentences about the story plot and scene. We thought carefully about the spelling of our memory words and used our phonic skills to write words phonetically. In math’s we explored the concept of doubles and learnt our doubling facts to five. The season of Spring arrived, we enjoyed using our creative skills to create beautiful spring flowers using a variety of materials and techniques.  In PE we enjoyed moving our bodies to music and explored a variety of different dance moves. During our PSHE lesson we discussed why sleep is important , supporting the growth of our healthy hearts and minds. We ended the week with breakfast book look, we hope you enjoyed looking at your child’s learning and had fun completing the fun activities. Have a lovely weekend!
